A month ago, Jake Bowrey and Ellis Ericsson were both down here in La Rochelle, France for shaping and glassing some boards for french customers at UWL workshop. They worked their ass off, shaping and glassin day and night to get half a day off, to get to surf one of the best spot in Charente Maritime. I got the chance to get there with them with french surfer Pierre Mesnage and photographer Elsa Girault, and shoot a few rolls of 35mm films. Only a few came out well unfortunately, but that’s the analog rules! Here the photos from the first roll.
Big thank to Neal Purchase Jr and UWL surfboard for shaping that great custom 6’5 Single fin Snubb model. Love it!
