Lamono “THANK YOU” book

A few months ago, the guys from Lamono Magazine contacted me to ask if i’d be interested to be part of a surfing book project amongst other photographers from around the globe such as Jeff Divine, Ryan Tatar, Jack Coleman but also some friends Karl Mackie with who i worked on my last surf film Behind The Tide, Kim Francis and Elisa Routa.

So i sent some of my last 35mm photos i took whilst i was in Australia and Cornwall, and recently i received this beautiful surf book, printed on high quality paper with 4 pages about my analog photography work.

I would like to say THANK YOU to Lamono magazine and Oakley for this great project and publishing this very nice book.

For those who are interested into this book, check this page out.

A day at the beach with Ellis Ericsson and Jake Bowrey

A month ago, Jake Bowrey and Ellis Ericsson were both down here in La Rochelle, France for shaping and glassing some boards for french customers at UWL workshop. They worked their ass off, shaping and glassin day and night to get half a day off, to get to surf one of the best spot in Charente Maritime. I got the chance to get there with them with french surfer Pierre Mesnage and photographer Elsa Girault, and shoot a few rolls of 35mm films. Only a few came out well unfortunately, but that’s the analog rules! Here the photos from the first roll.

Fred has been surfing Tom’s alaias for years, and he’s great to watch surfing finless.
Tom Wegener taught him a lot about how to shape alaias. These 2 great surfers and shapers feature in the new film “Behind the tide”, coming out this year. Watch the trailer here:
